Scope of Application
The provisions set forth in this document govern the relationship between the potential guest — hereinafter referred to as the Customer — and Internacional Azores Boutique, covering everything from the moment the reservation is made until the end of the stay. In situations not covered by these Terms and Conditions, Portuguese law shall apply.

The rules for canceling a reservation vary depending on how far in advance the notification is made, as well as the length of the reservation:
Reservations between May 1st and September 30th:
All reservations made for the period between May 1st and September 30th are non-refundable, and full payment is required at the time of booking. After payment, the amount is non-refundable, and the reservation can only be changed subject to our availability and authorization. In case of cancellation or no-show, the total amount of the reservation will be charged.
Reservations between January 1st and April 30th and from October 1st to December 31st:
All reservations made for stays between January 1st and April 30th, and from October 1st to December 31st, may be canceled free of charge 60 days prior to arrival. In case of late cancellation or no-show, the total amount of the reservation will be charged.
Special conditions applied to Group Reservations:
Important: For us to prepare your check-in in the best possible way, please inform us of your estimated time of arrival. Please note that late check-in after 10 p.m. will incur an additional charge of 20,00€ and must be notified in advance.
No-Show and Stay Interruption Policy
If the guest does not show up on the scheduled date of the reservation, the “No-Show” procedure will be applied and the amount corresponding to the reservation will be charged.
If you choose to end your stay early after checking in, no refund will be made for unused nights.
Payment:
We kindly request that payment be made by bank transfer, including the pre-reservation number in the transfer description, and sending proof of payment to info@internacionalazores.com.
Upon receipt of proof of payment, we will send you confirmation of your reservation.

Other important information:
At check-in, guests must present a credit card for security purposes in case of extra consumption or damage caused, which may be assessed after an inspection of the accommodation.
Arrival and Departure
1. The Internacional Azores Boutique makes rooms or beds in the reserved category available from 2:00 p.m. on the scheduled day of arrival. If no advance reservation has been made and the request for accommodation is made directly at the reception desk, the assignment will be subject to availability at that time.
2. At check-in, guests must identify themselves and present a valid ID (ID card/passport) to the receptionist.
3. On the day of departure, guests must vacate the room by 11:00 a.m., removing all belongings and ensuring that no damage has been caused.
4. If the room is not vacated by 11:00 a.m. on the day of departure, without justification or prior consent from Internacional Azores Boutique, a fee corresponding to the value of an additional night’s stay will be applied immediately. The customer may only remain in the room during this period subject to availability. In case of unavailability, immediate departure will be required, even upon payment of compensation.
5. The Internacional Azores Boutique has a permanent reception service from May 1st to September 30th. We kindly ask guests to inform us of their arrival time.
Bed in a shared dormitory: upon check-in, you will be given a key ring with two keys, one for the dormitory door and one for your locker.
Bed in a private room: For room reservations, you will be given a key ring with one key for the door and another for the windows (security system).
All keys must be returned at check-out.
In case of loss of any key, it is essential to immediately report the incident at reception, and the cost of the key will be charged to the guest.
Terms of Use
1. At check-in, all guests will be asked to present a valid national identification document with a photograph.
2. Minors unaccompanied by their parents/legal guardians must present a suitable declaration, as required by current Portuguese law.
3. Children under the age of 14 must be supervised by an accompanying adult guest during their stay at the hotel. Unaccompanied minors under the age of 18 are not permitted to check in.
4. Only the persons named in the accommodation reservation are entitled to use the hotel room or dormitory. Visitors to our guests are only allowed to stay temporarily with the prior consent of the management of Internacional Azores Boutique.
5. Customers must treat the hotel room, dormitory, and common areas with care and consideration.
6. The common areas and equipment available to guests must be used in appropriate conditions and left clean and in good condition.
7. All damage, malfunctions, and thefts associated with the Customer will be charged to the Customer, considering the value of the damage in question.
8. The Customer must treat other hotel guests with consideration and respect the hotel rules posted in the hotel, if applicable, which are also part of the accommodation contract.
9. We strongly recommend that you do not keep valuable items (such as jewelry, identification documents, or other items) and/or cash in your hotel room.
10. Internacional Azores Boutique provides a safe in all private rooms of the hotel where valuables can be stored.
11. Internacional Azores Boutique assumes no responsibility in the event of theft, loss, or damage to valuables such as money, jewelry, or other items if such events occur in the hotel room, dormitory, or inside vehicles parked outside.
12. The Customer must always close the doors to the building and the room door and ensure that they are properly locked.
13. In case of emergency, the Customer should call the contacts provided at the reception.
Parking
Internacional Azores Boutique does not have private parking. However, there is free public parking in the surrounding area.
Pets
Pets are not allowed at Internacional Azores Boutique. If a guest brings pets onto the premises, Internacional Azores Boutique reserves the right to request the immediate departure of the customer, without refunding any amounts already paid for the room or bed during the agreed period of stay.
Noise
Out of respect and consideration for all guests, we ask that you be especially quiet in social areas, stairways, and hallways. Between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m., activities that cause noise likely to disturb other guests are not permitted, in accordance with the General Noise Regulations.
Access to the room/dormitory by Internacional Azores Boutique
The staff of Internacional Azores Boutique reserves the right to enter the room during the customer’s stay to carry out cleaning, repairs, and similar tasks.
Accommodation Price and Other Prices
1. The accommodation price payable by the Customer constitutes consideration for the use of the private room or shared dormitory during the period between arrival and departure.
2. The total price of the stay will be charged per night, regardless of whether the Customer has used the room/dormitory.
3. The applicable rates shall be the agreed prices, or the prices set out in the Internacional Azores Boutique price list in force on the date of the booking request. Internacional Azores Boutique shall have the right to update prices, informing the Customer in a timely manner.
4. The rates and amounts indicated for the stay already include VAT at the legal rate in force, unless expressly stated otherwise.
5. Children up to 5 years old stay free of charge. Children aged 6 to 12 years old receive a 50% discount on extra beds.
6. Towels may not be used outside the accommodation. If you require a towel for this purpose, please contact reception to rent one at a daily cost of 10,00€. If the
towel is not returned, for any reason beyond the control of Internacional Azores Boutique, a fee of 20,00€ will be charged as compensation.
7. Internacional Azores Boutique provides information and promotions on its website. Offers and promotions are temporary and subject to specific conditions.
8. Specific payment conditions may apply to travel agencies, tour operators, and other entities.
Complaints
There is a complaints book at reception. Any complaints or suggestions should be forwarded to management.
If it is found that there is indeed a defect in the customer’s room, Internacional Azores Boutique has the right to choose to repair it and rehouse the guest in a room of the same category as that contracted with the guest. Only defects that are likely to compromise the level of service and quality of Internacional Azores Boutique will be considered.
Responsibility of Internacional Azores Boutique
1. Internacional Azores Boutique shall be responsible for ensuring adequate hygiene, cleanliness, and safety conditions at the Boutique Hostel (dormitory).
2. Internacional Azores Boutique shall not be liable for any personal belongings that may disappear within its premises.
3. Internacional Azores Boutique assumes no responsibility for the loss of data provided by the Customer in the event of electronic transmission of payment data and shall only be liable in the event of culpable conduct.
4. Internacional Azores Boutique shall not be liable to the Customer in the event of a delay in making the room available if there is a reason of force majeure. Reasons for force majeure shall be those that make it impossible or more difficult to make the room available, such as strikes, blockades, natural disasters, accidents in the room itself or in the Boutique Hostel.
Duty to Notify
In the event of theft, damage to property, fire, flooding, or other damage to the Hostel Boutique room, the Customer must immediately inform Internacional Azores staff and do everything possible to help resolve the situation.
End of Stay
Internacional Azores Boutique reserves the right to terminate the stay if the Customer fails to pay the amount due, or if the Customer behaves in a manner that affects the peaceful coexistence, tranquility, or hygiene of the hotel.
The Customer may request to end their stay at any time until 8:00 p.m., effectively from 11:00 a.m. the following day.
Data Protection
The personal data of the Customer and their companion(s), if applicable, will be stored and processed by Internacional Azores Boutique and its service providers, in accordance with the Law, for the services requested by the Customer and for its own advertising campaigns. The Customer shall have the right to object at any time to the use of personal data for advertising purposes and shall inform Internacional Azores Boutique accordingly.
Unless otherwise provided by law, the Customer’s personal data shall be deleted at the end of the legal retention period.
General Provisions
The Terms and Conditions govern the Customer’s stay at Internacional Azores Boutique and their use of the room or bed in the dormitory. The invalidity of one or more of the above provisions does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. The invalid provision will be replaced by a valid provision that most closely reflects the commercial and legal intentions of the parties or, if this is not possible, by the Portuguese legislation in force.
