The theme

The rooms refer to the time of the seaplanes, the La Frégate commanded by the pilot Paulin of Paris, this biplane of Gallic military aviation ended in Horta, being dismantled and boxed, in the cruiser Duguay Trouin. In October 1927 the aviation pioneers Lilli Dillenz, austrian and Ruth Elder, american, who with the pilot George Halderman, had been saved by the Dutch ship “Barendrecht” that had collected them after a forced ditch already in the seas of the Azores.
