Cancellation Policy:

The conditions of cancellation of the reservation depend on the advance of the respective communication:

 

From May to September:

– If it is up to 31 days before the date of check-in, a full refund of the amount paid for the reservation occurs;

– If it is 30 days prior to check-in, 30% of the total reservation will be charged.

 

From October to April:

– If it is up to 15 days before the date of check-in, a full refund of the amount paid for the reservation occurs;

– If it is during the 14 days prior to check-in, 30% of the total amount of the reservation will be charged.


If the guest does not show up on the day of the reservation, it is considered a “No-Show”, and the first night’s value will be charged. The guest already installed can interrupt his stay with no refund.

 

I. Scope of application


The terms and conditions contained in this document apply to the relationship between the guest potential, hereinafter referred to as Customer, and the International Azores (Hostel Boutique), from the time of booking request until the end of the stay. In situations that are not foreseen in the Terms and Conditions, the applicable legislation is used.        

II. The Reservation Policy

Reservations can be made by phone, email and through our website and Facebook, and booking engine. Reservations by phone, email, Web page and Facebook are subject to availability.

After reservation request, if rooms are available, Internacional Azores provides a reservation code.

Reservations made by tour operators, travel agencies and booking engines determine the issuance of a reservations different code from that issued directly by Internacional Azores. However, the code is also valid.

The Azores International only guarantees to the Client the availability of a room of the reserved type.

Confirmation of reservation depends on payment of 50% of the total amount of the reservation. Payment is made by bank transfer or PayPal, and the Client must send the proof of the bank transfer by e-mail. Non-payment of this amount will lead to the automatic cancellation of the reservation.

The remaining 50% of the reservation amount is charged in cash, credit card or debit card at the time of check-in.

III. Arrival and departure

The Azores International only provides the room or bed of the reserved category from 2pm of the expected date of arrival. In case of no reservation being made and accommodation requested at the reception, it is subject to availability at the time.

Upon check-in, the guest will have to identify himself and provide to the receptionist the identity document (identity card / passport).

On the date of departure, the Client will have to vacate the room free of people and property and without any damage until 11 am.

Check-in and check-out may take place outside the scheduled time as long as availability is checked with the employees of Internacional Azores.

If the room is not vacated by 11:00 am on the day of departure, without any prior justification or consent from the International Azores, a compensation corresponding to the price of one night will be immediately charged, and the Client will only be entitled to use the room in that period if there is room availability. Otherwise you will have to pay the compensation and leave the room as soon as possible.

The Azores International has a permanent reception service from April 1 to September 15. Please inform us of your arrival time.

Upon check-in, a keychain with two keys will be delivered: one from the bedroom door and another from the locker, in case the reservation is a room: a keychain will be delivered. If you lose one of the keys you should go to the reception and immediately report what happened, the value of the key being charged to the guest. Keys must be returned upon check-out.

At check-in:

– Bunk bed or individual in dormitory: will be delivered a keychain with 2 keys and a bath towel, one key of the dormitory door and another of the locker.

– Bed in room: will be delivered a keychain with a key.

If you lose one of the keys you should go to the reception and immediately report what happened, the value of the key being charged to the guest. The keys must be returned upon check-out.

IV. Terms of Use

Only the persons indicated in the accommodation reservation will be entitled to use the room. It is only allowed the temporary stay of visits to our guests with prior consent of the management of the International Azores.

The Client and the accompanying person (s), if applicable, must use the room in the appropriate conditions with care and consideration.

The Client and the accompanying person (s), if applicable, must treat the other guests of the Boutique Hostel with consideration and respect the Regulation made available on the reception and on the Website.

The Internacional Azores offers its guests a common room, TV lounge and terrace.

The common spaces and equipment available to guests should be used in the right conditions and left clean and in good condition.

All damages, breakdowns and thefts associated with the Client will be charged, taking into account the value of the damages in question.

Children under 14 years of age must be supervised by an adult guest at all times during their stay at the International Azores Boutique.

The Internacional Azores Boutique shall not be liable for personal property that may disappear within its premises.

The Client must always close the access doors to the building, the bedroom door and make sure that they are properly closed.

In case of emergency, the Customer must call the contacts made available at the reception and rooms for this purpose. Parameterization of these same contacts in the telephones is constant in the rooms.

V. Parking

The Internacional Azores Boutique does not have private parking. However, there is free public parking in its surroundings.

VI. Animals

It is expressly forbidden to host animals at the Internacional Azores Boutique. The introduction by the guest of animals in the Hostel allows the International Azores Boutique to inform the Client of the obligation to leave without being returned the values ​​meanwhile paid for the availability of the room or bed during the period of stay contracted.

VII. Noise

For the sake of respect and understanding towards all guests, special attention is paid to silence in the social areas, stairs and corridors. Between 11pm and 7am no activities are allowed that cause noise that could annoy other guests, according to the General Regulation of Noise.

VIII. Access to the room by Internacional Azores

The Staff of the International Azores Boutique will have the right to enter the room during the stay of the Client in order to perform cleaning, repair and similar work

IX. Price of stay and other prices

The price of the stay payable by the Client constitutes the consideration for the use of the Hostel Boutique room, in the period between arrival and departure.

The total price of the stay will be charged per night, regardless of whether the Customer actually used the room.

The applicable fare will be the agreed prices or the prices established in the prices list of the International Azores Boutique in force on the date of the reservation request. The International Azores Boutique will have the right to update prices, informing the Client in a timely manner.

The rates and amounts indicated for the stay are all plus VAT at the legal rate in force, unless expressly stated otherwise.

Children up to 5 years stay free of charge. From the age of 6 years until the age of 12, you have a 50% discount on the extra bed.

The use of towels outside the accommodation are not allowed. If you require a towel for this purpose you must contact the reception for the rental of the same, being paid for the rental a daily 5 €. In case of non-return of the towel, for any reason unrelated to the International Azores Boutique will be charged the value of 20 € as compensation.

The Internacional Azores Boutique offers on its website information and promotions that are ongoing.

The offers and promotions are temporary and are subject to the specific conditions defined.

Specific payment terms may apply to travel agencies, tour operators and other entities.

X. Payment conditions

Payment of the value of the stay and the additional services must be made at the time of check-in.

If the duration of the stay of the Client is not specified, the price of the stay and the additional services for each night must be paid until 11am, time of check-out.

Fees for additional services will be, for example, transfer service, extra bed price and other charges that were not mentioned at the time of booking.

The International Azores Boutique accepts cash, ATM or bank transfer and PayPal payments. We accept debit and credit cards.

Checks are not accepted.

XI. Claims

There is a complaint book on reception. Any complaints or suggestions should be directed to management.

If there is a defect in the Customer’s room, the International Azores Boutique has the right to opt for the repair and re-room the guest in the same kind of room contracted with the guest. They will only be considered as defects that could compromise the level of service and quality of Internacional Azores.

XII. Responsibility of Internacional Azores Boutique

The Internacional Azores Boutique will be responsible for ensuring the proper conditions of hygiene, cleanliness and safety of the Boutique Hostel.

The Internacional Azores Boutique Boutique will not be responsible for the personal property that may disappear inside its facilities.

Internacional Azores Boutique assumes no responsibility for loss of data provided by the Client in case of electronic transmission of payment data,and is only responsible if there is a wrongful action.

The International Azores Boutique will not be responsible to the Client in case of delay in the availability of the room in case of force majeure. For reasons of force majeure, those that make it impossible or more difficult to make room available, such as strikes, blockades, natural disasters, accidents in the room or in the Hostel Boutique

XIII. Notification Duty

In case of theft, property damage, fire, flood or other damage to the Hostel Boutique room, the Client must immediately inform the employees of the International Azores and do everything to help in the resolution of the situation in question.

XIV. End of stay

The International Azores Boutique has the right to terminate the stay in case the Client does not pay the amount owed, as well as if the Client presents any behavior that affects the good living, quiet or hygiene.

The Client may request the end of his stay at any time until 20:00, to take effect from 11 am the next day.

XV. Data Protection

The personal data of the Customer and its accompanying person (s), if applicable, will be stored and processed by Internacional Azores Boutique and service providers, in accordance with the Law, for the services requested by the Client and for the advertising campaigns themselves. The Client shall have the right to oppose at any time the use of personal data for advertising purposes,and shall inform the International Azores Boutique.

Unless otherwise legally stated, Customer’s personal data shall be excluded upon the expiration of the statutory retention period.

XVI. General provisions

The Terms and Conditions regulate the stay of the Client in the International Azores Boutique and the use of the room or bed in dormitory by the latter. The invalidity of one or more of the previous provisions shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. The invalid provision will be replaced by the valid provision, the most approximate of the commercial and legal intentions of the parties or if this is not possible by the Portuguese legislation in force.
